By royal appointment :)

Prince William School is the 4th school to use Swimming Hippo for the production of a website and prospectus.

Prince William School requested that Swimming Hippo assist with the design process of their new school website, to update their brand and give a fresh look to their school image. They also wanted to take this branding and carry it through to their prospectus design, keeping the continuity of their brand.

Salts Healthcare

With the success of the last Salts Healthcare mobile app, Swimming Hippo have been contracted to build a second app to support nurses advising pre-op and post-op stoma patients.

Salts Healthcare are one of the oldest companies in the United Kingdom and specialise in a range of products to help support stoma patients in comfort and care.

This new, tablet friendly app will contain 4 main sections which are based on previous product brochures. The app will assist nurses in explaining to stoma patients about their operation and aftercare.

The app will include over 90 pages of content from video clips to 3D animations explaining product features.

The Speech House Hotel goes mobile

We advised The Speech House Hotel how to prepare their website for mobile use because of the high visitor numbers accessing their site via smart phones. Visit their website on your mobile to view the end result.

With up to 80% of the world’s population owning a mobile phone, and 1.1 billion of these users owning smart phones, it’s important to make sure that your website and content is accessible to these potential customers.

When The Speech House Hotel were made aware of how many customers were accessing their website via smart phone, they wanted to future proof it by creating a version which was accessible to mobile phone users. Swimming Hippo suggested that the best approach for the hotel would be a dedicated mobile site, as their current website wasn’t redesigned too long ago.

Making their website accessible to customers makes it easier for these customers to place a booking via an easily accessible link.

New responsive website and branding

We are pleased to announce our new website, which we launched in the first half of the year.

You may have already noticed our changes to our branding and website, but for those who haven’t you will find it more accessible to smart phones and tablets because of the use of responsive design.

Responsive web design is a way of producing a website that adapts to a users interface. For example if you take a look at our site on your desktop computer and on your smart phone then you will see the similarities between the design, but also how it switches from a 4 column layout to a single column layout. This was an exciting move forward for us, and we hope you find it useful.

Also included is a company profile, our extended list of services including web design and search engine optimisation as well as new services such as mobile design and app development. A range of our latest projects can also be found on our work section.

Take a look at our website to see what’s new and why not contact us to find out more about our services.
